Biography
He started playing guitar at the age of 14 and at 17, took over the solo guitar of the precursor of Hard Rock Gaucho, the band Valhala, after studying with important names of the gaucho and Brazilian scene, such as Zezé, Walter Rezende, Ary Piassarolo and Edilson Ávila. The following year he founded Frutos da Crisis, one of the most renowned bands of Rock Gaucho, in that national boom of the 80´s.
At the end of 88, he moved to London, where he lives until 90, forming the band Studio 77 with English and South Africans. Back in Brazil, follows his career as a guitarist playing in bands such as Coverboys, Cine Privê, Bédliu´s, Bella Mau, etc ... Since 2000, has also been dedicated to music production, jingles and tracks, including responsible for creating the tracks of the first Basso Straps catalog.
Currently, besides producer and teacher, Paulinho has been dedicated following his instrumental work, plays in the bands Coverboys, Quantum Leap, Zebuh and La Bronca, and accompanies artists such as Geraldo Occa, Saulo Fietz, Antthon Chucarro, among others from the gaucho scene. and national.
